That's a bummer.
I think the min. is 6 points.
I can't imagine the fine been heavy, fortunately, but its the insurance implications.
It annoys me that the insurance companies hold it against you for 5 years, even though it comes off your licence after 3.

And it will instantly apply to all policies you hold, or are named on. Whereas when you take out a new policy (for a new vehicle or bike) you start that policy's NCB entitlement at zero again. They have it both ways.
