Battery Drain finally found!

I wanted to give an update on my battery drain situation on my 4200......

Well after nearly 1 year it would seem that we may have found the cause to the battery drain.

One Alternator, new battery, two trackers removed and endless testing it would seem that the drivers door control panel was shorting due to it being water damaged, obviously a seal or something damaged on the drivers door (still to be found!) but hundreds of pounds later i now have a 4200 that IS NOT draining the battery, i hope!

8 hours of stripping the car by GT Cars in Chester and the boys have come good, hopefully this is the end of this chapter and i can get on and start enjoying the car again. Wish me luck

oh that's a weird one (and expensive by the sound of it), proof once again that persistence is a great tool. Hope you get a period of trouble free motoring sir.

Good news! It is always the little things that are difficult to find and therefore more expensive but at least now you can enjoy her as meant.
