love the noise!

anyway! noticed that under hard acceleration the battery light flickers on and off, anyone idea of what that means?? alternator? battery? help appreciated.

Loose connection perhaps, or regulator fault. Maybe even a loose belt, but possibly less likely. Worth getting a diagnostic, I think

I had this on a couple of other makes of car just after I bought them, when they had been unused for a few weeks. It stopped after a couple of days and never reoccurred maybe just lack of use, and battery settling?

The light coming on means sufficient current from the alternator is not being supplied to the battery. A simple test is to put a voltmeter accross the battery terminals when running. You are looking for 14-14.5v. Rev it and test too. It could be either a failing alternator, battery, gauge or slipping aux belt (usually accompanied by a squealing).

Let us know how you get on.
