We have done that and still got the same errors have disconnected the battery as well to see if that put it right but no

Hope you have better luck

I wonder if it's charging properly. Might be worth checking the voltage on the battery when it's running

Multimeter on DC volts
Start the engine and let it idle.
Voltage across the battery terminals should be above 12v, more like 14 - 14.5

Get someone to hold the engine about 3k revs. Same reading. Then turn on all the stuff like aircon and headlamps.

If you're getting much less than that I'd suspect that its not charging.

This is in no way fool proof, but should give you some pointers

Battery tested out ok no problems.
It appears to be a wheel bearing/speed sensor fault - which will be replaced this week.

Thanks for your help

speed sensor is integrated – as far as I can tell (I tried) there's no separating it.

used ones are relatively cheap and plentiful on eBay – front and rear (and QP/GT IIRC) are interchangeable.

Let us know how much it ended up costing you, if you don't mind. I foresee myself having to change mine at some point as I got that error msg a while ago

All fixed luckily for me under warranty - so I don't have a price for the part only.
Sure someone else will be able to give a guide price

The MD price for a front wheel bearing including the ABS sensor that I was quoted was £595.98 plus fitting but including VAT

Thanks guys. My warranty lapses in 8months, so I'd like to fix the fault if it comes back. So far, no more error message after the initial scare 3 weeks ago.
