Beaulieu Supercar Weekend - Aug 6/7th

Having had a good chat with some of you at Mitcar - Gaydon last year, I was wondering if anyone else had plans to do Beaulieu this year. I have done this a couple of times in the past, you get a food mix of cars, my 3200GT and the Gransport of my brother have been accepted as part of the event on Sunday (the list on-line suggested they might not qualify, it was very high end in the Maserati area). The display cars are roped off, Lambo and Porsche attendance is huge. Maserati based on the times I have attended is normally at most 4 cars. Attendance is free for up to two persons per car for display cars and coffee and snacks are laid on. You can take part in the rev off if your exhaust is particularly loud and there is a display run again if your exhaust is loud and you are up for shredding your clutch and tyres. I usually aim for the 10am opening (or just before to avoid the worst of the queues) and stay to 4/5pm and watch all the other super cars leave.

I usually do this, as do a few others on here, the Maserati area is usually at the far end of the field, there must have been 20 or so on the Sunday last year. Maserati will not be seen as important enough to be in a prominent position, why we are usually confined to the furthest away point.

I missed last year, I didn't think the event would run due to covid, I think last time I attended may have been 2019... See you there, do we want to co-ordinate and arrive in a group? Last time I went it looked like the Ginetta group met up at the pub on the left just before the entrance to Beaulieu.
