I remember when that car was last up for sale around 4 years ago. I almost regretted buying my manual 4200 a few months prior, what a colour

He didn’t buy it from me, but from a gentleman who’d bought from us. It’s a very nice car indeed, we spent a great deal of time and money on cosmetics etc, it was a solid and mechanically sound car. Love the colour, really stand out. One of two in the U.K. if I recall correctly.

Oops sorry Dicky. My mistake. I find it surprising how well the shape suits the colour. I hope it goes to someone on here.

I really don't like that colour ... reminds me of a Ford KA Mrs Hawk had many years ago (and the colour looked sh!te on that as well)

It’s the colour that’s going to kill it. Of course I could be talking bollox.

And if past history is anything to go by within 2-5 years of me selling a car their prices go through the roof!

Personally I love the colour. However, that means nothing when it comes to cars, safe and boring usually are worth more. Unfortunately.

Seems it's done less than 2K miles from your ownership until now...........I would hate to think what the depreciation per mile is if it goes for a smidge over 10K!!

Hopefully theyve got a reserve on it. It’s worth more than that but using an auction relies on more than one person wanting it.

Im still a little lost by the Collecting Car’s model it doesn’t seem good value to either party.

Love it. I remember Meridien selling one in this colour back in the day, but it had a cream gear-knob as well (though maybe that's since been changed). French Blue is fabulous, but looks even better on a Ghibli Cup.

I love the colour.

But its not low miles, and unless there are a few who are desperate for this colour...well there is not going to be a bidding war.
