Just saying hello, I joined the forum a while back actually with eyes on a Granturismo to be my "fun" car but realised I couldn't get it in my garage due to length and the routing of my Gas CH. Then I discovered stage 3 cancer, and have been having treatment for 6 months which looks to have been successful at least for now.
The change of perspective on life led me to ditch my workmanlike BMW estate and try to enjoy a daily drive again. After a brief search I was offered a Lovely QPV Sport GTS by a fellow member on here, so am now the new owner and currently enjoying the noise when the foul weather allows. I'll likely use the car quite a lot, so the higher mileage starting point (75k) is likely to go up quite a bit, but its had all the major work done when required so hopefully it will remain reliable for a long time yet. My Shell points should rack up nicely!
Car is well received by everyone I've met even non car people, something about the badge / looks I guess and I'm looking forward to this constant rain to clear off and a good spring and summer of driving again.

Welcome! It would be great if you came along to some of the car events e.g. Brooklands Autoitalia in May (see thread). Good excuse for a drive. Hopefully Dem will have a gathering point where newbies can introduce themselves.

Alex
welcome and congrats on joining Maserati ownership.
Live life to the full, that’s what I do after health scare 30years ago.
My Strad lives outside and has come to no harm, and I get to see it everyday even if I don’t drive it.
