Best Battery for a GTS

Sorry to bring this one up again, but I just wanted to double check - is this generally considered to be the best battery for the GTS and is this one listed the correct model/spec/dimensions etc?

Right now, I cannot leave my battery on a conditioner as I don't have power in my pop up garage which is 30 or so metres from the house - another house job on the list ... So I want to have the best possible battery which will hopefully not let me down over the winter months

Many thanks all

I recommend a call to the AA - they'll sell/fit/guarantee a battery from a manufacturer called YUASA (google them) they fitted one on my GT 18 months ago and zero issues to date cost was £125 (ish) all in. Importantly should it go flat they come out and fix/replace it for 4 years.

I actually have a Yuasa on board now and I am not too impressed, it doesn't hold a charge as well as I would have hoped; maybe I have just been unlucky and have a bad one? I have heard that the Bosch is the way forward but I wanted to check some other opinions too
Cheers

Sorry can't help, but would love to know the answer as well! Fwiw, I replaced my lotus with a Bosch battery years ago and never had issues after, even without a conditioner. I think they come with a standard 5 year warranty as well

Cannot speak for a battery specifically for the GTS, but I have been impressed with Bosch S4 batteries and the one on the ad seems to be even better.
I fitted 1 in my daily driver in 2010
Daily driver went into storage in mid 2012 and the battery has fully drained a couple of times because of that (battery not disconnected, no trickle charger, etc).
Then the alternator failed causing the battery to be nearly fully drained a couple of times over a 4 day period until the alternator got fixed
Now, car is back on the road in Luxembourg with temperatures reaching -10 in the morning and again fully drained the battery twice by leaving the interior doors on overnight.

You would think that with this age and abuse the battery would be long gone but last week every day in the morning it was -10 outside and the car always started on the button.
If you don't know, cold weather decreases significantly the amount of power a battery can provide and at the same time the engine requires a lot more power to start.

I have gone ahead and ordered a Bosch S5013, 019 so hopefully it will cure everything.
Thanks all
