The Strad is so much more of an event. It’s stiffer, more powerful, has more/better noise, superior brakes, better seats, is more modern, better built, etc. It’s simply a generation on. But it is at least three times the price (very approximately), and only the individual can decide on whether that represents value. But given that 4200’s can change hands for under £10k, while the cheapest Strad is maybe £50k indicates what the wider marketplace thinks.
It is quite big though!

Ah well that puts them out of reach (to me). Because a decent 4.7 MC shift could be had for sub 40k I'd be loathe to go the extra for the Strad, and at 50-60k for a good one gets too close to AMG GT territory... which I'd say is a generation further on again. Much as I do prefer the Maserati badge....
