We are pleased to confirm that BIAMF 2015 will take place on Saturday, April 25th. The Featured Marques this year will be Lamborghini and Moto Morini.

We welcome all owners of Italian vehicles, and those wishing to exhibit their vehicles can find entrance details on www.biamf.co.uk. Please note that entries with payment must be received by 17th April.

As always there are likely to be a few disappointed applicants - if you wish to 'improve' your chances of being accepted could I suggest:

Volunteer to marshal. You must be parked in your display position by 06.45 am ready for the marshal's briefing at 7.00 am., be willing to assist as required during the influx from 07.30 - 10.30 am., be available during the day for an hour or two (you will still have plenty of time to yourself) and be on hand to assist the other entrants leave the event between 4 - 4.30 pm. Your entry fee will be refunded at the end of the event. AND/OR
Join the IAMC. (If you are already a member and your membership will be current after April please add your membership number to your name above. If you need to renew your membership please click here). We are offering a discounted membership of £15 (currently £20 annually) for BIAMF entrants. In return you will receive preferential consideration of your entry (space permitting), a free entry and new members will also receive a membership 'Welcome Pack' of Club merchandise which is currently worth over £10 by mail order, to be collected at the festival. Do you want to join? If so, you will be given that option when you have submitted your entry details in the above format.

All the letter says is timings and a little bit of info about restaurants etc. It states:

"In the third weekend of April we will send out your entrant’s information pack with entry permit by post. In the meantime, you need take no further action as your entry is assured. However, if your circumstances change and you are unable to attend please let me know ASAP because the entry list will become over subscribed and we will have to decline some entries which otherwise could have been accepted.

Please let me know if you need any further information or if your address, Email, mobile number or vehicle details change."

I thought it strange that hadnt heard back following my original email requesting entry. Following a second email it was discovered that I had been caught up in a backlogand but have subsequently received payment request which I have now done and received confirmation of entry. Replacement suspension arm due any day now so task over Easter will be to replace in time for event. If any one else has applied but not heard back might be worth a second folllow up email.
