Is it still happening next year...Did someone take over the running of the event as the chap who does it I believe has had enough and not doing it next year..

Great day out yesterday. Thanks for the photos Nick.
A chap called David Morris was Paul's 'apprentice' this year - hopefully he will be willing to take over next year & give Paul a break.
From discussion it seems Council cuts are going to result in more expense* next year & the cost might start to 'hurt'. Sad but true



* For example for safely reasons the road needs to have all non participating vehicles removed on the day. At a cost of £200 hundred to hire a tow truck. I understand that in previous years the Council were able to provide a subsidy but possibly not next year.

Move it to Bath by the Police Station there are some side streets there that would be perfect and I also think the police are leaving that station soon so there could be their land too.

Its close to the station and the river and central park...thinking of parks the approach to Royal Victoria would be ace but I doubt you could secure that venue...althoigh they have closed it for food festivals (but at some price I guess)

I don't know about being selected by the pigeons. I can only tell you that the QP was targeted by a flock of our incontinent feathered friends hence the appearance of the microfibre cloth! I was surprised but nonetheless delighted to receive a prize. (Thank you Contigo, SteveM, Andyk and others for your comments ) As a matter of fact when I returned to the car to find a rosette on the windscreen, at first sight I thought that someone had left me the remains of their pizza!
