Probably. Could be a peach or a lemon. A lot of money spent on a car with acceptable miles for very little return. Was it pranged? If an Italy based car is smashed up and repaired 'over there' would it have to be recorded over here? IMO, something doesn't sit right.

I would guess so...given the £7-8 k for 2009 bumpers/lights etc, and about £4k for the re-spray...there has to be more about this than just a change of paint for a scratch IMO

Alarm bells do ring re respray, but it does look beautiful and may well be a genuine car.

Sean, are you considering having a look? You've had that colour on your GTA and loved it, and this would make a fantastic progression if all is well with it.

Very tempting this one - spotted the ad on Friday.

Although it looks amazing it does seem to good to be true - I though a scam ad at first until i read the detail.

I suppose that mucking about with a car of this calibre does not sit well with most people interested in the marque and will detract from value rather than add.

However, in this case 'mucking about' has cost him many thousands and he should expect a premium as he has up-dated rather than 'Chavved it' up. It could be a bargain provided you go in with a good deal of suspicion and scepticism.

Agreed. If all checks out it could be a fantastic purchase for someone looking for what is a truly elegant car. Eyes wide open, eh.
As regards "Updated chassis", I took that as latest sky hook upgrade, lost slightly in translation

Do Masers have hidden vin numbers, like Jags, for example?

for the sake of £200 an inspection costs id say its worth it if everything else checks out alright
