anyone know any good bodyshops near MK, happy to travel a little to a good one ?

damage is on the front wing which I doubt is recoverable but the bumper I would think the clip could be repaired.
- wing has about 12" dented / scratch
- on the bumper it has a little scratch but clips broken

(cars out at the moment so no picture)

as its matt finish it seems to be a difficult job to do, had 3 bodyshops turn the job down and one wanting to do the complete car and replace both the wing and bumper... :broke:

was thinking about going to the Cotsword but thats now out :(

Can't help with the body shop outside of my area, but interested to know what car have you with a matt paint finish?

Merlin Bodycraft in Brackley would be my choice. Only 25 minutes from MK. I've been using them for years and I've not been disappointed yet.
I have my 72 MG done there along with a number of other high performance road cars.

I'd say I'm quite fussy and they know that so maybe that helps but I see all sorts in there, last week it was a Ferrari 308, a couple of weeks back it was a car so old and large it hardly fitted in the booth, I forget what it was.

Speak to Richard or Dave, both are the owners of the company.

the alfa spider and not my choice of finish, detailers nightmare, fantastic looking car but hate cleaning it - its got to be almost non contact washing

I've been through my fair share of Audis , time for a change now. Maserati time soon I hope.
Yes, I've used Doug in the past but I've mainly been using APS, right across the court from Merlin, perfect :)

I used APS, good guys but the car got a heating issue after a service which they couldn't fix ? took it to Audi who couldn't fix it, took to Doug who did

One of the last run out models then, recall seeing one at a dealer a few years ago.

PP are excellent and very very honest. If they say complete car then I think you'll probably struggle to get a good match on individual panels. The paint and bodywork they do is generally much better than factory. They've done a few jobs for me and despite the prices I've always come away very pleased with the result.
