But don't worry it's not a Maserati replacement lol, far from it, completely different car to what I normally drive but iv always liked them and I think this makes a decent car to go with the maser

Shame fuel consumption is as bad as the Maserati though

Very lovely Beau...these are great value now and knowing you it was a bargain.......Was toying with the idea of getting one as my daily drive before I bought the 6 series...

We looked at these when we bought the RR, but the rear seat was not big enough to get our 3 children seats across it.

Yup lovely and IMO the best colour combo.
Had a turbo one of these in the Middle East where it used to cost me less than a tenner to fill up.......those were the days!

Enjoy!
Cheers Wattie

Had two here until very recently, we both loved them. Superb car, surprisingly good to drive, aren't they?

Good friend had the spoilers/side skirted GTS for a couple of years.
It did look good in black, but being a 4x4, with such low stance and low profile tyres was a bit silly when it snowed and he could not get off his drive with only 1 inch of snow!

That's a very good point - there are some Cayenne winter tyres in one of the sheds, Beau.... ;)

To be honest I surprised my self with how much I picked it up for :p

It's a 3.2 v6 (don't touch the 4.5 v8 because they have a issue with the bore/piston rings) and this has got 120k on the clock, so nothing too bad, and it's in great condition

Valuation says trade in, poor condition, £6500, and ebay sold auctions are showing same as this selling for between £8000-9000

I paid £4700

It drives lovely, iv done over 1000 miles in it and it's just really good and easy to drive, and doesn't feel like your driving a big car/boat (too much) lol

That looks terrific, Beau. Good value too!

Next time I need a car perhaps I should pay you commission to go and find and buy one.

Early V8 had a Lokasil coating which could fail - later cars (and all turbos I think) had a nikasil coating which hasn't been a problem. Plastic coolant pipes on the turbo are the biggest problem, they fracture and just fail. Can be replaced with metal, but it's not an easy job - they run in the V in the block... Brilliant design.

We got 120k out of both of ours - one a straight V8S, the other a V8 Turbo. Nothing, and I really mean nothing, went wrong with the cars, aside from they moved a vast amount of money into an oil well.

Great buy at that money!!!

A friend of mine has the V8 and had the plastic coolant pipes fail. He had them replaced in aluminium at more than £1k!

Nice Beau. I'm looking for a replacement for my 107k mile Volvo XC90 so if you decide to sell it, drop me a PM.

I have some Maserati caliper logos for your 3200 still if you want to send me your details.
