Hmmm ... provisionally parade laps start at 18:10.

That's going to make it a late one home for me.

Many people will be long gone by then... Not the brightest move on the part of the organisers - they are usually held at lunchtime.

I've just seen that on their Facebook page.

If you have to be there at 9am and the parade is at 6.10pm (that's if there are no delays in proceedings, which are kinda inevitable), that's a long old day. Even for me who only lives 20 minutes away!

No question - they won't get many takers for a 30 mph parade (which won't happen if the racing is delayed) around the Indy circuit at that time. We will certainly be long gone by then, particularly since I'll be driving in from Geneva the evening before.

I am actually available for this and would love to come and be a part of the stand but with a GTS, I'm "capped off"...

If you need someone to make up the numbers (Ie, can't find anyone else with older cars etc) then please add me to the list.

Alternatively, let me know, becuas there's a charity event I can attend the same day but would rather come to this if its at all possible....

Hmmmm.... Great stuff, but I'll be amazed if that actually goes ahead; one delayed race and it's gone - that's why other organisers always run them during the lunch break.

Thanks for your efforts Phil, much appreciated, but I will be gone by 4pm I'm afraid - hungry hounds to feed back in the East Midlands - but hopefully still see you there anyway. But don't worry about a ticket for me as I was expecting a lunchtime whip around the track too, please pass it on to someone who will use it.
