Hobgoblin. A fine ale. In fact I have never had a beer from Wychwood that I didn't like :)

Yep, Hobgoblin is a fine ale though Sheppard Neame ales are my personal tipple!

Ahh also some fine ales.

I have been making a serious study of the small, independent breweries in my locale, as well of those to which I travel. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

Should rename the thread "My favourite beer"
King Goblin - rather nice
St Peters Ales, sold in Victoria Wine by the case (also seen in Tesco's in what resembles a blue medicine bottle) do a very lovely Cream Stout at 6.5% its not for the faint hearted either

My dear sir, next time you are in the smoke, please to get in contact. We shall hie ourselves to the Jerusalem Tavern of old Farringdon where they only beers for sale are those of the St Peter's brewery :)

The Jerusalem Tavern is a 2 minute walk from my office. Great place to hide away for an afternoon!

We should have a London meet. Perhaps not on a Friday night as it gets a bit crowded, although standing outside on a Friday in the summer is pleasant enough. I know a lovely indian round the corner as well.

Have been to a couple of Beer Festivals recently, only Real Ales of course..!! Some fantastic beer from small breweries, the best I tasted was a cool 10% ABV, it was terrific and you did not need many..!!

Now if it was a wine meet I would have to be there....

Farringdon is only a few stops away on the tube - I work in town although sadly not always dressed appropriately for an afternoon beer (I manage a building site)
But with a bit of planning I think I need to try out this Tavern ASAP
