I am very pleased to report I set off my first car alarm today with my new X -pipe, I realise I have a long way to go catch up with the big boys
but my face was grinning like a Cheshire cat when I realised it was me, the Mrs just tutted and turned her head away in disgust.

Hmph, I'm again wondering if I need more noise! Valved back-boxes that give it that scream would be cool... would that go with my Larini decats and X?

MrPea, i currently have the Larini silenced decats, x pipe and valved boxes. sound is perfect. started with the x pipe and larini sprort boxes and it was a bit loud. i added the silenced decat and it was a noise ticket waiting to happen. so, i sold my sport boxes and put the stock ones back on. nice tone but a bit too quiet. last wekend, i put the larini valved boxes on and it is just where i want it.
