On the 993 forum back in the day the std (narrow) bodied cars were known as Kylie and the wide bodied as J-Lo

Lots of car for the money (£10-12k estimate)
Lots of potential problems but hey this is a Maserati forum so those in glass houses and all that. https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/cla...-2023/1767~2-2005-bentley-continental-gt-auto
Very ostentatious , What I can say with complete authority on the matter ; is what a lovely place to be inside , gives that certain je ne sais quoi feeling , definitely makes feel like our Bebs , I should riding high with a big fat ceeegar and the window down ,pound for pound every bit as exciting as a Masser but from a different perspective, something I feel honoured to have experienced.

If I was going to do the big auto cruiser thing I’d probably go for this from the same sale.

There’s also an interesting 4200 CC that looks clean. Silver over red interior.

I’ve driven a few and they are hugely impressive, not really my thing - driving experience is a bit of a one trick pony.
Well, one trick shire horse on industrial levels of nandrolone would be more accurate

I think that's a great description. Accurately reflects my experience

I go through a phase about once every 2 months where I think that a Continental GT is a good idea, then I need to go to see my therapist who helps me explore the feelings and help me understand what a terrible idea it is. The therapist is certainly cheaper than an engine-out alternator replacement.

Biggest cost on mine was pretty much fuel!

Amazing thing. Very glad I did it. I still see them and think 'Hmmmmm' but very much doubt I'll ever do it again

Like most of us on here, Ive spent god knows how many years asset building and ducking and diving to have one or two things that float my boat , luckily ive managed to build up what I call my fuel war chest , and by golly im going to use every single cent of it , when its gone its gone , and i'll be selling up and going back to a Morris Marina similar to my pops , by which time i'll probably be incontinent and dribbling to buuuggery ...........so who cares as long we have fun along the way , life is but a dream to unfold ,
