Car dryer blowers

Has anyone ever found a solution to contactless car drying using a blower.

I had a master blaster once but it sounded like a jet engine and was not particularly efficient so I donated it to SI.

But I see hand held rechargeable ones on social media that look really good, but I suspect they are useless on the real world.

Any solutions greatly received.

Most of the hand held social media ones are shocking in the real world.

Dog grooming dryers tend to be a bit quieter for obvious reasons and cheaper than car specific dryers. Ive only seen corded dog grooming dryers.

Ryobi do two sizes of cordless blower which i have seen a detailer using on youtube.

I've got one of the social media blowers, more because it looked like fun for my 5 year old.
Will do a freshly coated panel but a bit useless on anything else.

Might as well buy a DI vessel and rinse with 0ppm water and just leave it !

I bought a Makita DUB185Z. Seems pretty decent but end up using it more for leaves than the car!

If anyone wants a 0ppm filter, I have one in the garage that's a bit Heath Robinson, but works. Media has had about 2 washes through it. Free on collection and application of a bottle of wine.

blower are mainly to get water out of gaps and difficult to reach areas.
they are fantastic but to dry a car without touch, i think is a myth (excluding drive-thro dryer)

if you have hydrophic coating, then use end of a hose with low flow, without splashing run water across the top of the panel which should dry the car.
I use this method all the time and then use blower with a towel for the rest.

the other way, is a good drying towel, place on the car, pat to soak up water then lift off, move to next area and repeat.
if area is flat like roof then you can place flat at one end and pull across. this will lift any water with no pressure on the towel / panel

I think the tip of using the effect of the hydroponic coating makes a lot of sense and will form part of my routine.

So I washed the Jag today which was recently ceramic coated.
Rinsed with filtered water at low pressure from the top down and it worked quite well I just didn’t get the full satisfaction of seeing the car all dry and shiny.

So I have ordered one of these little blowers (I have a number of the batteries already) and it’s low cost so not a biggy if it’s useless.

Will let you know

I have a Blo GT and it's really very good, however as mentioned above if you are going for completely contactless then it does take a long while.

Also if the car does not have a coating, or recently waxed, then the water doesn't slip off and it's quite ineffectual.

I can thoroughly recommend using a water purifier for the final rinse, then blo water out of all the gaps and shuts followed but a quality drying towel and you are away.
