Car gone quiet

Ok so having just reutnred from a 3000 mile euro trip I notice the cars gone a little quiet. I can hear the valves open and close fine, so am sure they are not stuck and need the WD-40 solution. Any idea anyone.

The car was driven hard doing the 1000 mile Mille Miglia as a support car for the Ferrari tribuite. - Highly recomeded the event should anyone get the chance. Full police support - has to be seen to be believed!

If the valves *are* opening, you're imagining things. Unless you've got a serious loss of power.

The gas has to go somewhere....

No loss of power, just must have been the 'full on' dirving of last week then, well I think

In your case, the issue isn't with your ears, it's what's between them that's the problem. :D

Ok so after several weeks of testing there is a loss of power the "instant kick back" you normally get in 1st and 2nd is not there it waits and then begins to climb all be it alot slower than before. Ideas anyone.....

Plug it into a diagnostic.

Seriously, how many miles has it got? Could be plugs, or variators (depending on age), or something else making it misfire.

Oh and I'd think you'd have noticed the type of power loss required to make it quieter without needing several weeks of testing, but that may just be me.
