MAF at a wild guess...
We had a MAF issue and you could put your foot on the accelerator as hard as you liked but there were no revs and the car did not move - it did not stall. Problem solved by a battery reset with the isolator turned off for about 1/2 hour, turned it on, turned ignition key to MAR, push throttle fully to floor and release 10 times (as adviced by a Porche engine development technitian), turn key off, then start engine and drive like crazy (our translation from @Zep's advice) - but we may be on borrowed time. We also had a stalling issue and the gear box light came on - in that instance it was the F1 pump

It sounds like every time you start it, it runs for 10 mins and the stops (when you say stall, do you mean that you try and pull away and it stalls, or that it just stops?).

it sounds a bit like fuel delivery, but reading your codes is the way forward.

If it’s from cold it sounds like it’s having a wobble when it goes from open loop to closed loop. But that could be anything from MAF to outside temp sensor. As Zep said you’re going in blind without reading the codes.

You can exclude the MAF by unplugging it, the system should revert to a throttle position based fuel control strategy - nothing should stall but you may get engine fault light on.

Diagnostics needed as previously mentioned.

After some trial and elimination this ended up being the crank shaft censor. After not being driven properly for 2 years she is now running great ready for next summer. I never wish time away but bring on next year already. Also looking for the Center console button strip as when I was cleaning the sticky buttons with some alcohol I wiped across this button unit and rubbed the print clean of

Glad it’s sorted and cheap fix.

My 2006 QP often stops running after about one minute after start. I have to remove key, open driver’s door, unweight the drivers seat, and then it will restart immediately. If I don’t follow that procedure, engine will crank but will not fire. My mechanic calls it an “Italian tune-up”. I call it “control/alt/delete” reset. Cause of problem is unknown.

Perhaps we should start a thread - 'the strange things my car does and how we rectify them' ;)
