Don't worry, last time I was parked next to a very rusty camper van which got a lot of attention, as a new maserati owner I took it in my stride, stiff upper lip, f#%k it, I was gutted!!!!!!

Mate of mine has a mk 2 Escort, he went into a shop parked in front of a really nice Esprit

When he came out 10 people were looking at his Escort not 1 at the lotus , he said the guys nose looked a bit out of joint

She does about 8 to the gallon on a good day, don't even ask what happens when you boot it, just had a bigger fuel tank fitted yesterday, point is that the sender unit is now out, so I have to guess how much is left in the tank :-(

Bit of a school boy parking error from Newton last night.

Had a great time today. From meeting people at Wetherby Services, through the drive to Newby Hall with everyone making appropriate levels of noise, and spending the day in the sun looking at cars and talking rubbish.

A quick picture of the cars to the right of me. More to follow when I get them downloaded from the camera.



Foolishly, despite spending time packing chairs, picnic, camera, sun hats, I forgot the sun screen. I'm suffering a little for it now and working my way through a bottle of aftersun.

But he ought to be able to identify the culprit, methinks - that's if the dedicated CCTV camera for his car was working. Newton - stick up a pic of that CCTV!
