Just seen this on EBay

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282515286861

I remember going to look at this at a garage in Leicester back in November 2015 and it was a right mess. It was the car originally on Copart. However the new owner seems to have brought it back to life and from the one picture looks pretty clean for a Cat D.

Is that the one with standard 4200 exhaust back boxes and a poor fitting rear drivers side seat with a red leather interior that was sold a couple of times last year.

Get it inspected and you could have GS for under 20k.....keep it and enjoy.

If you look at post #2 of the link, there are a number of photos of the damage whilst at Copart.

However the original ebay photos post damage showed shoddy paint match as a result of the repairs at the archway garage who bodged it back together.

Was tatty when i saw it post repair in 2015, lack of photos in the ad speaks volumes!

But if its cheap enough might be worth a go.

It's not cheap enough. Needs to be 25-30% less than similar cars and we've just seen a nice one come up for £23.5k. That makes £16.5k the real number. We know how easy it is to spend if it's not right. I bought a Cat D GS with a well known history and still that cost a good few quid more to improve. I wouldn't buy this one.
