Cheap BMW z4 for sale if anyone fancies a wee project

My good mate has bought a new z4 and is selling his old one for cheap money as it needs a little TLC. An easy project for someone if you fancy it.

2008 BMW z4 2.0 convertible
46,000 miles
Silver
Black leather
Full BMW history

Needs the following:-
Roof has an 8" slash caused by an idiot vandal which has been repaired but a new roof or proper skilled repair would be useful.
Service due 900 miles
Light parking scratches on front and rear bumpers, nothing serious
A couple of new tyres needed.

A car without the issues is around £8.5k with no facelift 2008 onwards cars around for less than £7k, even with 100,000 miles.

Given the work required, he's looking for £5.5k. Very fair I reckon.

He just wants to pay his balloon payment off and get into his new car.

My previous car was a 3.0 s z4 very capable car ,built proof engine and typical reliability , these cars do depend on spec though like in most cases . If your want a cheep convertible you carnt go far wrong .

Can not go far wrong with a Z4........3.0 was a peak. Not driven the 2.0 though. Good luck with the sale.

Car sold by the way, he took £5k for it which seems like not much for an 08 z4.
