I should be going with Sporting Bears Tony. They will be there the whole weekend, but I'll just be going on the Sunday (when the Maserati Centenary Parade will take place).

I'm the event organiser for the Maserati Club. If you are a member please contact me directly and I can fill you in on some plans that I am trying to get off the ground.

Hi I'm not a member and just looking to take my family in the Maser. Be interested to hear your plans though.

For Maserati Club members we will have a special parking area in the paddock at the fastest corner on the course. We will be doing parade laps on Saturday and/or Sunday depending on number of attendees. There is a plan for members to meet up beforehand and enter the grounds together and be guided to our area inside the paddock area. There will be some other things as well, but these are still in the planning phase. If you are not a member we would be hay for you to come by and say hello. It's also a great time to join the club, or evne do so before the event. The club is quite active at events this year, being the centenary year and all, and the highest profile event would be the Silverstone Classic, where with help from this forum we are expecting somewhere near 200 Maseratis of all shapes and sizes to complete parade laps on Sunday and set a world record for the largest Maserati gathering.

Please email me directly if you would like to join us at Cholmondeley or have any questions. New members, and their families, are always welcome.

Cheers.

Brainsick.
Two things:
1. How much is club membership please?
2. Please change that dreadful handle of yours!

Current membership rates for the Maserati Club UK are £50 per year and a one off £10 joining fee. The membership year runs January 1 to December 31. Details can be found on the club's website.

I have been able to negotiate a discount for attending the Pageant of Power for club members of just over 50%, meaning a three day pass costs £50 instead of the normal £115, more than paying for club membership by itself.

If any club members are interested in attending please contact me directly. Also, if you are wanting to join the club and attend also please contact me directly.

The handle, hmm, long story short... A few years ago some numpty ran into the rear of my car whilst I was sat at a red light. I received a brain injury in the accident. Hence the handle.

I'm going on Sunday with both kids, bought my ticket a couple of months ago when it was still free for the kids to get in.

I will be there on Sunday though minus the Maser. My weapon of choice will be our Volkswagen Touran 1.6 TDI...

One of the more interesting cars that was on display at the show today. Lovely Grabcabrio done up to look like Lightning McQueen, my daughters thought it was amazing though they are only 2 and 3 1/2 years old

That GranCabrio was the fastest in the Maserati group. If you go to www.tsl-timing.com you can get all the timing stats of the entire event. It was a fantastic weekend, and three Maserati Club members got the opportunity, unexpectedly, to compete in their cars going up the track at full speed. This was due to invited cars being unable to compete for various reasons. Club members also had the chance to participate in a parade lap on Saturday an Sunday, this opportunity was taken up by most of the attending Club members. A big thank you to Lucy and James, and the rest of the CPOP team, for putting on a fantastic Pageant of Power.
