I hope the rest of the team (except Eddie Jordan) remains.

Chris Harris I think would make a great anchor with Matt and Rory supporting.

Not totally surprising most of the criticism has been focussed on him and IMO justifiable so. MLB, RR & CH are a great team and should be allowed to develop the show in their own direction which will hopefully they will

I suspect the budgets will also be lowered given the current vewing figures...will end up more like 5th gear.

Without having to pay Evans its likely that the costs will be smaller. The key is finding a group of people that work well together. I may watch next year.

I wonder if there will be an edit of the current series without Evans.

Great news, I was thinking last night when they did the team shot at the end, they only need Rory, MLB and Chris Harris, the rest are surplus to demand and pointless.

I think they will still need a proper anchor though, the others are good co-hosts but I'm not convinced that any of them could hold it together on their own. CE is an anchor but it is clear was not to many peoples' taste - let's see what the next series brings

I watched the first episode and the last. Evans didn't improve, maybe a little less shouty. IMO he added nothing to the show at all. I liked the £100k MGB, though!

That's the best news for a while, I watched the first one even though I really can't stand him however none since. Looking forward to the next series without him.

Gutted Rory didn't like the Mustang..... having just taken delivery of one!
knew there was something not right about him ;-) Bit of a curve ball as both Chris' had given good reviews previously. Hope Clarkson likes it should anyone watch his show

I am not a CE fan but to be honest, he was on a hiding to nothing taking this on, A large proportion of TG fans were JC blinkered and therefore never going to give him a chance. As to the low figures last night, it was on at the same time as the football so maybe not a true reflection?
Personally, I thought the show got better with each episode and the extra section being an excellent idea, wonder if the idea was CE's.......

It's a decent show but needs improving with following:

1) Sack CE (DONE!)
2) Make CH the front man
3) Give Sabine a payoff
4) Replace the car in a rally car segment (its too long)
