A lot of the hotels in the area are already fully booked - I had a look - so I would think twice about waiting too long ...

And I've asked explicitly to have a room some distance from Matt, as if I hear any pigeon cooing before 7am in the morning then it will be an uneasy night of sleep.

The internet booking agents rates are on the increase; I suspect down to increasing Christmas demand.

The best I have seen is £69 with breakfast through the hotels own booking agent (links from their home page)

Guys (and girls), I am gioing to have to cry off the Ace, hotel and meal parts of this fine weekend as a significant issue has come up. Both Jeanette and I will be going to the Karting still so I'm sure there will be scenes akin to the mad cat woman in the Simpsons occuring on the track when she is behind the wheel!

Oh well... Will have to double the efforts to make the Monaco run work now....
