Great idea , thanks .That is quite a stupendous failure. Keep the old one, polish it up and use it as garage art!
That’s good to know Phil , hate it when you splurge loads of money and it doesn’t feel any different .Wow that's the worst I have seen and I have changed a few.
You will really appreciate the new one
Marios E-mailed me yesterday , all back together but they are having trouble bleeding the clutch so they are going to take off the master cylinder for a look , to see if it is blocked .
The good news is that my X pipe is on , yay !
That’s true , Marios is a Maserati Guru though so I have total faith in him .If the piston in the master cylinder is not retracted fully, you won't be able to bleed the system. It only has to be forward by just over 1mm and fluid won't flow!
It would definitely be a one off!!That’s a great idea , I work in a jewellers , I could do that no problem .
Good thinking , thanks Tim .Id ask Mario to service the gear change mech on the box whilst he has it..? Its an easy service whilst on a lift, and a perfect opportunity...
Great news Mike, bet your chuffed to bits to have her back..........Did Marios show you his lovely Pagoda Cabriolet??!!So picked her up today , drove her 100+ miles home and she ran great , very pleased , no shrieking noises and a better clutch pedal along with a much nicer gear change .
Had a nice chat with Marios at Autoshield too , great bloke , what he doesn’t know about our cars isn’t worth knowing .
Oh wow , no , I saw his vintage SL Merc and the Gransport though , sounds like he has some really nice motors tucked away .Great news Mike, bet your chuffed to bits to have her back..........Did Marios show you his lovely Pagoda Cabriolet??!!
