Conversion kit - boomerang lights on a GS

It has been discussed, and they were looking at the possibility of supplying the UK market, but nothing as happened as yet.
By all accounts they actually source the 3200 boot lid from the UK and ship to Aus, lights as well most likely.

As much as I like the boomaramng lights on the 3200 it's not something I'd change on my GS

Agreed on the no cutting but the fillers look a bit odd imo.

Saw a nice GS with Boomerangs in Modena, looked well apart from the hideous bonnet!

I have never been a fan of modifying cars, but that does look good, and well engineered. I saw the black car, mentioned, in Modena and it did look good.

Not a fan of the extra seam at the bottom, but unavoidable without welding/cutting.

It's the kind of thing you may do if the car was a keeper. Yes it's reversable , but then you would be left with the "bits", and a bootlid in a certain colour.

Looks good & I doubt there are many 4200 or GS owners that wouldn't prefer these lights on their cars. And likewise, most if not all 3200 owners would prefer the reliability of the later models, but let's not get into this again!!!

One of the Aus members on here (GETRDY) has done this through ART.
I have seen it in the flesh and have to say Auto racing technik have done a very good job with the conversion.
The owner (Ray) is quite knowledgable and as a bonus is a very nice bloke.

Oh ****, now the already high prices of boomerang lights for the 3200 will hit the roof with the extended market of 4200 and GS out there.
Maybe it's time to start thinking about making some boomerang lights as an aftermarket product for these cars.

That looks like a very tidy conversion and eliminates one of the elelmets putting me off the GS. Bravo ¬!
