Disable 3200 alarm auto arming

My 3200 lives in a garage where I always leave it unlocked.
The problem is that pesky alarm auto arms itself and then every time I want to drive it our of the garage I have to lock/unlock the car.

Is there anyway to configure the alarm to only arm when the door is locked?

Do the same with ours and it does not auto alarm. It only alarms when the door is locked with the keyfob.

Agree with Phil, I never lock mine in the garage, alarm only sets when the doors lock, however it makes no sound, only flashes the lights!

I also agree, mine is never locked in the garage and does not auto arm. Perhaps it's because it's a European car?

Weird ... Mine auto arms flashing the lights like you say but it doesn't wait for the doors to lock.
It does by itself after a few minutes.

Do you also disable your alarm (in case it goes off) by inserting a small usb like fob near the headldight adjustment?
I'm wondering if it's the same system as what you have

May be different spec, I know the UK insurance companies do not allow some over ride things, that are allowed on the continent.

Your car does not have the standard Meta Alarm then, it sounds like an aftermarket alarm/immobiliser if it has an independent keyfob for activation/deactivation.

I don't think it's aftermarket because I have seen other 3200 with the exact same system when I was looking for a car.

The fob receiver is also very discrete and blends in with thr dash, so I'm pretty sure it comes this way from factory.

I guess I will wait on the opinion of other members from the continent to compare

I have the manual in front of me (granted not for an AC) and there is no mention of this device you refer to. The alarm section details what we've talked about on here too. It must be aftermarket.

It is possible that there was an optional dealer fitted anti-theft device on the continent.
