The x431 work on the Gt and others, but it all depends what you want to do I guess and which car.

@Zep has a version so can probably advise on this better than I.

AS long as the launch software for maserati is v11.25 or above which it should be if its brand new as you should get free updates for 2 years. It will do 4200 / GS / GT etc Pis settings.

Officially its anything 2007 onwards but it will do earlier 4200s.

It wont do anything on a 3200 that i can recall. You would need unidiag software for that.

Launch will interegate engine/ abs tpm parking brake, climate control , suspension, gear box ecu and instrument panel.

It wont however talk to all those module on all models.

4200 and GS will do all the above except tpm, parking brake and instrument panel for example.

@Zep: one of the pdfs shown by a 431 supplier mentioned quite boldly that also the 3200GT airbag system could be entered and read. Could you or someone else confirm that?
(The light came on after hooking up an almost empty battery.)
It is a later car with obd connector.
But if this would not work, the 431 still would be nice for my Ghibli and Grandsport I think, so I will order one anyway.

Depends on what you want it to do.
The Launch has crept up in price, and it's a minefield whether you are buying a genuine or a knockoff, they appear to originate from China whatever, with no, as far as I can see, an official UK dealer with support.
As my sole usage would be for my 2002 4200, I've just purchased the EasyMAS.
The communication and support has been superb, 100% UK, and they are working with me to sort my, as diagnosed by their system, passenger lateral air bag issue.
I've also had a play with reading all the F1 gearbox/engine/suspension stuff which when I have time after summer hols, will be reporting on according for all you techy types.

Ditto, I'm on the Norfolk /Cambridgeshire boarder with a Launch x431 pros mini 3.0, happy to let people plug it in and see what it can do on theirs. Seems to do everything I've asked of it on my GT sport so far including F1 clutch adjustment and gearbox relearn etc.

The pdf shows software version V10.06 which is approx 6 years old !

If that is the software version they are giving you and it cant be updated then would suggest you dont buy from them.

You could not adjust the PIS setting on properly until version V11.2 as it would only write to one decimal place.

The latest version of the Maserati software for launch is V11.65

Have a look at the link below and it will show you what options are available for each of your cars.

To set the PIS you need the special function mode on the gearbox module. I cant see it on the list for 3200s. You can see it for example on a 2007 GS.

@spkennyuk, this list is from an older version indeed, current tools are much higher versions.
Question is, can current versions really connect with the 3200gt TRW airbag module and clear/read codes.

doh ! Yes your correct. Im not as familair with 3200s as i am with other models.
