Electrical gremlins....

Have a funny gremlin in the drivers side electrics that seems to be imacting the following:-

1. window doesn't drop to clear the rubber when I pull the door handle
2. Drivers side indicators have gone nuts, they work for a couple of on/offs then stop. After a bit of use they don't even work at all. Hazards are the same.
3. Drivers side door doesn't always lock via the electronic lock.


I think these could all be things to do with the alarm system, I have an after market Meta system fitted.. Anyone experienced similar?
Could it be an earth somewhere?

if you think the alarm is the route, disconnect and try............easy tests firsts

Sounds like a bad earth to me.
Finding it will be the hard part

Meta alarms were a factory fit on the 3200 and the 4200..exactly the same symptoms...
I ruined mine faffing about trying to sort out a battery discharge, in the end the alarm ECU plus all the keys had to be sent off for reprogramming..

That was an expensive lesson!
