Battery off, unclip the airbag and have a look at connections etc.Must be in that area if you can touch it and it operates horn. A reomal and reseat may work.
Battery dc appears to have solved the issue. Will take out for drive and feedback to you. ThanksI will remove airbag module but I have no way to get the wheel off to check the clock spring! Is there a way to eyeball it by turning full lock?
Can I disconnect horn fuse?
Only maserati cars have such problems
Not just Maserati. I had similar symptoms with my Hurricane a few years ago. When I turned left, it sounded which was an unpleasant surprise. The cure was more straightforward. A wire was wrapping itself round the steering column - just needed re-routing. Good luck with yours.Only maserati cars have such problems
If it gets me a big discount I will certainly consider it. Can I get back to you on that? You have to luv Gaz
Train or tunnel, Gaz? I sense you may not have considered, so to say, both ends of the equation here.If it gets me a big discount I will certainly consider it. Can I get back to you on that?
They usually would act like your horn, work sometimes and sometimes notLong drive and car wash with no issues! Got a 200 mile cars and coffee road trip tomorrow so hopefully all gd!!
Once I get home ill probably remove the airbag module.
Am I correct in saying a broken clock spring would disable any steering wheel input?
