I stronly considered doing it to my old 4200 engine, but it was in way too good a condition! Just waiting on a hydrolocked one I know about and am hoping to create some furniture.

Are the manual and auto engines the same but mounted to different boxes??

No, the place where they mount is different.

As far as I am aware There is no difference between the Manual and Auto . The Car is Auto the replacement Engine came from a manual ...........Went straight in!

That was my understanding too.....

What was the engine issue?
Would not start or was just blowing water out of the expansion tank?
Is the manifold with injectors included in the deal?

I bought the car with flood damage assuming that the Engine was destroyed. Later investigation proved different .If you call me I will explain
