Shortly I will be listing our MCV on PistonHeads but thought I would put it up here first. Car is a stunning example in near perfect condition first registered in 2007. Unmodified & totally original, never been repaired and showing only 12,700 miles. Mechanically drives as new, tyres have done only 4000 miles and was last serviced by Giallo in Oct 2012 when they also did a PPI for me at the time of purchase. Of course all owner’s manuals and portfolio are included along with an unused spare key. I am the fourth owner and the car was first registered 31 July 2007 and sold by Lancaster Colchester. She really is as near to perfect as you will find and would suit a Maserati collector.

Car is optioned with some desirable extra’s including:

Xenon headlights with wash device
Carbon interior kit (door sill trims, door panel trim and steering wheel in blue carbon)
Leather headlining
Rear parking sensors
Fire extinguisher
Electronic rear view mirror
Stitching colour (seats)

The red carpets really make the interior and with the splashes of carbon and chrome along with the red stitch contrast in the seats the interior is a beautiful place to be.

Asking £39,900. MOT & taxed until October.

I am in no rush for a sale so will leave her on the forum only until after we return from summer holidays before advertising more widely. Happy to accommodate people interested from outside the UK.

Cheers
Simon

Change of plans I guess. We had intended selling our house in Oz but have now decided to keep it. Hence we need to scrounge up the funds for a decent house deposit. so the Maser has to go to make way. One toy car will have to suffice for a couple of years

Sorry to read that your selling Simon, but needs must I guess. How have you found the GS MCV experience? Good I hope?

Hope she sells well and quickly.

Quite a profit if you get near what you're asking, not many cars that could get that kind of return, but then it is a special car :)

Even though the price is well into GT territory it's still a worthy contender. If Camelot smiled on me I'd garage it alongside an Assetto Corsa.

Phil....have you gone over to a lesser car??!!...;)...the AC?

P

Nah, just musing Frank although I do think that would be a great combination. The 4200 will give me something to play with for a while but I would love a low mileage red AC as a keeper; if we still had ours it would now be heading towards chain replacement and probably a few more bits and bobs. I'm convinced there's a few good ones quietly tucked away so maybe one day........

You'd be surprised whats locked away.......and surfaces 10/20/30 years later.......though am not sure 3200/4200s will benefit from lack of use!!

Hi Miles,

The MCV experience has been great easily living up to my expectations. The sound of that burbling V8 never grows tired nor do the sexy lines. The suspension in sport mode is brutal but a lot of fun on the right roads. The car draws lots of attention wherever it goes, much more than I expected. My Mrs drove the car most of the time and she would often come home with stories of groups of school boys giving her the thumbs up! Overall its been a fun car to own.

The market for GranSports seems to have softened a little so I have dropped my asking price to 39,900. When I find the time I will be listing her on all the usual sites this week.

Just sit tight as these cars do not always sell quickly especially at the top end as its in a lot of talented company....GT included...but I'm sure someone who just want a perfect MC will come along....Good luck.
