We all know what forums are like and they all have different strokes for different folks. Our forum I think is better than most and members are in the main pretty sensible and out to help each other..!! Sure we get in to a bit of banter and mickey taking now and then, but I have never witnessed what could be deemed as an argument. We all value the cars that we drive (regardless of banter) and have respect for others views regarding any issues brought to the fore. I personally have found this forum to be an immense help in Maserati Ownership and I value the input of every member. We all try to get to know everybody, go to the odd meet now and again and like the Xmas party, have a fantastic time with great people.
They must be struggling for stuff to write about in the motoring press, if forums are considered fair game..??

It's the like of Pistonheads where you get scenarios as depicted in the article but as you say on here it's more mature and sensible banter. Over on that forum you get the usual "MX5 is the ultimate car", "nothing is quicker than a 320d", "The GTR is a supercar" and "Mumsnet is that way" posts all the time.

I tend to avoid forums with this sort of mentality as I tend to avoid people with the same.

Banter is banter but often the line is overstepped.

This place and the other Alfa forum I tend to visit seem to have got the balance about right, which is probably why I am still here.

PS And all these GT R owners are just made, don't they know that a slammed Corsa with 20's is the only real Supercar
