I should explain! I have been thinking about how the system would work based on the symptoms Evo has been getting. We have confirmed that the system pressure is regulated by the ecu using the pressure transducer so I was wondering why the screw was needed at all. I think it is a bleed from the pressure side of the system back to the reservoir, the intention being to make sure that there is some circulation in the system to aid cooling etc. This would explain the overflow Evo had from the reservoir when the screw was too far open. Thus when the fluid is hotter the viscosity is lower and the bleed back is quicker. I am sure that the pump primes more regularly after a run, I will go for a spin this week and let you all know if it is the case.
