I cannot think of a better fathers day "present" than for dad to have a drive out in his Maserati - with or without the family!!
Enjoy your day dads and do some miles - hoping to see lots of "spotted" posts after the weekend!

sunday looking the driest day of the weekend up here but since there is only needamaser and myself North of Inverness there is not much chance of being spotted! will still enjoy a nice wee run.........if dry enough I'll head up to Loch Maree for that BBQ I promised Trevor when he was up but it was too wet........don't worry Trevor, I'll take some pics ;)

My Fathers day present (I don't believe in that tosh) was to take my son back to Leeds after a weekend visit.
A round trip of 100 miles which of course called for the QP.
I let Andrew (son of 23 years) drive it to the A19 South and then let him drive it on the A19 South
Well you should have seen his face! Eyes wide open, big silly grin from ear to ear and this was before he hit the sport button!!!
I would not let him on the A1M south so I took over and then drove back by myself (just avoiding PC plod on the A1M North)
A satisfying afternoon!

Good for you Dave!

Been out in the QP myself this afternoon, driving in tandem with my daughter in her own car. The A1 is closed northbound ALL WEEKEND at Newark (Friday 9pm to Monday 6am), for some roadworks a mere 15 or so miles further north. Yes, you read that right - there's nothing happening on the road for another 15 miles... It's appalling. The traffic jams are stupendous, and there's no real reason for all those poor sods to be stuck in them. Southbound is open, so I got to see the miles of empty roads, closed petrol stations and coffee shops, then the miles of standing traffic waiting to get onto the country roads. I knew it was there, so we were able to drive north on a completely different route, but it's simply not necessary to have put so many people through such pain.

Drive back was marred by long queues of cars in the outside lane overtaking nothing. All doing 40...

I might as well have taken the lawn mower - wouldn't have been much slower.

Hope you all had a great day.
I'm in the Algarve without the GS , the villa I am staying at has a terrible off road path to get to so decided to hire a seat Leon for the 10 day trip.
Back wed and will need to go out and run the car immediately :)
Missing the maser!

Colected the mistress shortly after landing back in England a quick blast up the A41towards tring to blow away the cobwebs then a spireted drive back towards Watford through some country lanes. Oh yes I love my gs. I did spot another masser driver on the a41. gave a beep and got a wave.
