It was a real credit to 3200 owners last year at least my old 3200 made it round with Rich at the helm, it's all about maintenance :D

Got my pink "Sports Maserati Festival Italia Gravel" pass right here so looks like we are not on the concrete area opposite the pits like last year.

I cant read the second one, with the annotations. Do you have a larger size / higher resolution, Phil? Where is the 'General Italian' parking?

Doesn't look like it's as good a location as last year. It's off to the right once you get in. So a bit more out of the way and not likely to get the same amount of traffic past us as last year. Shame really, what did we do to upset people?

I think there might be more of an enphasis on classics this year as they are getting really popular. One benefit is that we will get on/off the track quickly as that is the route on for the parade lap

I just spoke to Sasha at Brands Hatch and she said that we definitely, absolutely, finally, CANNOT have a little more space to squeeze in a handful more Maseratis. So it does look as the 'extra' people will just be in 'Italian Car Owners' (if that).

If you are in this position - I think that means maybe, roughly some on the list below - do you want to try to meet up and make a little convoy to at least be together in the wilderness? I'm coming from very nearby (Sevenoaks, roughly) ....

So won't that confuse the stewards even more if I've got a sportsmaserati ticket but have to park in General area and the same the other way around?
I haven't got my ticket yet by the way as Sasha would have sent it to paul?
Are you still sending me my ticket paul?

My understanding is that ALL 20 of the SM pink mirror hanger tickets have been sent to Paul and he is sending them to the top 20 on his list, not Sasha's list - but I may be wrong.

I think the marshals will be routing ALL the 'pink ticket' cars to the pink area and ALL the "General Italian" (black) ticket cars to "General Italian, whatever. It might just be possible to blag one's way into the SM area on a black ticket, but I doubt it.

I am resigned to going ending up 'black' unless someone drops out and sends me a 'pink'.

I don't dare comment on your special situation, Tom.

Okay, so last chance saloon. If there are any "General Area" tickets going free, and there isnt anyone already in the Reserve list for one of these ahead of me (note MarkMas - lol) then please let me know. Otherwise I look forward to 2018's event! Cheers all.

....or you could just park with hoi polloi and trek over to the SM area, which is not very much different from being in "General Italian" and doing the same, surely? I will probably be parked between a between a Lancia Dedra and an Alfa Arna.

That would be a miracle. There are no currently registered Arnas and only 13 Dedras
