EVO ratings are all over the place. Harry fundamentally likes Maserati but much of the rest of the crew seem sceptical.

The important point is that they say it doesn't handle as well as the old car and that the engine note has gone. Makes me think this model is a luxobarge for the Chinese to buy.

With you Dem..I would wait for the Ghibli and see if this is the true car to take over from the QP...

This says it all really..

'If you’re craving some of the old Quattroporte magic, the good news is that Maserati will be launching the smaller four-door Ghibli saloon in mid-2013, and they say this model will be much more ‘sporting’. Prices haven’t been announced yet but Maserati are hinting they will be similar to the outgoing model (from £87,400) but because there will be more variants in the range (V6, V8, 4WD) than before, the spread of pricing will be much wider.'

maybe its just me, at first glance of the rear it looked kind of audiesque, but I guess that is to fit in with target markets. bring back the boomerang lights/entertaining styling I say

Just does nothing for me, mix between a Renault and an Audi. Needs more agressive styling.. but eye of the beholder and all that.

really?? have they??

They have, really!

Thy made the 5 Series Touring in 4WD for RHD markets about 15-20 years ago but nothing since. If you see a BMW in Europe that has an 'X' on the badge then it is 4WD, something like 530Xi.

So that settles that. Short of a test drive at least.

Hello, 2nd-hand, affordable QP with the ZF gearbox.

Happy, Crackling, Days!
