Car is in for a clutch job. As it only has 24k KM I wasn't initially planning to replace the flywheel, but it looks pretty worn.
What do you think?

Definitely.

You see the discolouration, they are flywheel hot spots and will cause the clutch to grip irregularly.

Flywheel is only a couple of hundred quid too.

Definitely replace it, it's not an expensive part.

Surprised you need a new clutch after 15k miles though.

Not too happy about that as you would imagine. I am the second owner, only did around 1k miles since purchase. From what i've seen, first owner had a driving style that didn't help with the wear, never in sport mode and lots of slipping when slowly engaging from a stand still. Hopefully i will manage more from this new one.

As you've no control on clutch slip and wear on a 4200 semi auto Alfa Selespeed type transmission, you're in the lap of the gods...

I much prefer the old school manual 6 speed Getrag fitted to the 3200GT!
