For sale: 2kg CO2 fire extinguisher

As a result of eBay, and someone withdrawing a bid, I've just ended up buying 14 fire extinguishers!

I wanted 2 chrome 2kg CO2 extinguishers, I now have 4. Adam Crud has had one. So 1 is for sale. Brand new and boxed, they retail at £50+ I'll take £15.

I also have 9 standard red 2kg CO2 extinguishers, these are not new but are unused. Normally £40+ I'll take a a tenner each.

For those wanting one, I'll take them to Ace for the meet for you to collect.

I bought them as I do a fair bit of welding and grinding in my workshop at home and with sparks flying everywhere it's only a matter of time before I set something on fire.

Phil, I agree totally that the little car ones are pointless. In fact I have one screwed to the wall in the workshop and it was looking that which made me buy these 2kg ones.

Some years ago I rented a van, got about 10 miles on the M62 and some guy pulled alongside me frantically pointing at the back of it so we both stopped , him a bit in front of me , he came running back with one of those small fire extinguishers and started squirting it under the van.

Somebody must've had a grudge against the hire company because they'd stuffed some cardboard on top of the cat which had caught fire

It put it out so better than nothing , the biggest problem is them not being used for years then when you rely on it you get pfffttt
