What year and mileage, out of curiosity?
I just bought a new one for my wife and depretiation on this model seems to be quite low.

Not bad for a 5 year old model.
I see them here with 2 years costing 10 to 15% less than the new model.
Haven't seen any other car with such depreciation numbers

We paid 10,500 for it so 45% residual after 5 years and it never went wrong.

Cant argue with that. It is low mileage and mint condition thought.

Well done Matt, you sounded bullish about the sale so I guess it was justified.
It's only right that you buy something else now that you have sorted out your storage issue

Hum, the wife has hinted at divorce papers if I do!

...but talking hypothetically, if I was after another car, it would probably be an Alfa 33 Permanent 4, its been on the wish list for ages.

Oh memories!
Sadly mine I believe met its maker many years ago, and is most likely a can containing beans in the kitchen cupboard now.
However better to have loved and lost, than not loved at all!!

It was a sad day when it went, it contributed to the deposit for our first house 18 years ago. It was that or my Stag, and I still have the Stag!

How old was it when you sold it, looks like new. I see from the 4 bolt strut tops that it was not galvanised...or so the urban myth goes.

Sold it early 97, it would have been 6 years old ish.
Had it for 3 years, bought it when it was about 3 years old.
When I sold it, it had about 120k on the clock!
Even though it was young, it did have rust issues. Bottom of doors skins, bulkhead was red rust, I think they forgot to paint it! Rear panel seam under lights bubbling.
Honestly a further 20 years on not surprised you don't see any anymore!
After those pictures were taken fitted an autodelta stainless exhaust, that quad cam boxer sounded epic!
It was real special car for me at the time. The grip and handling was fantastic, the four wheel drive system eliminated any wheelspin/torquesteer. Having a/c was rare, and according to the dealer, was not an option for UK imports but mine had it. The Recaro seats, personal leather steering wheel etc.
Happy memories, cruising down to the in-laws in France at 130mph on the autoroute, try that today!

You would have thought after 2 decades of Sud ridicule they would have sorted the rust issue, but no, carry on with their heads in the sand.
