I have for sale two Formula Dynamics dbw modules complete with wiring looms etc. One is from a Gransport and one a 4200 cambiocorsa. If you wished to have them fitted to either car, they wouldn't need reconfiguring. If you wished to fit one on a Quattroporte it would need to be sent to FD for reconfiguration.
They are £600 each.

Hi Dicky
I'll take the one for the 4200 please. I assume installation instructions are available.
Please PM me with payment details.
Many thanks Moz.

I'll try and sort some instructions out on Monday, although hopefully someone on here may have some. If I recall correctly, Parisien may have some or I'll find some next week. PM sent. Thanks very much, Dicky

I did a dozen or so installations back when these were popular a few years ago. I've got the instructions as a PDF if you want me to send you a copy.

Mike

What's the view of anyone who's fitted one of these? Worth bothering with? What are the advantages?

Had one one my 4200 MAF and it was a marked improvement. Markedly faster shifts and available under lower rev's to boot.

I think it's widely accepted that the improvement on the GS is less marked, as the shifts were improved anyway, but if it's programmed specifically for the GS with the more aggressive settings, then it's worth considering.

Supposed improvement in clutch longevity, though I've never seen this proven.

If anyone is thinking of sending one back to FD for reconfiguring, I paid £200 late last year to have mine reconfigured. This did include a loom though in the price.
Haven't had time to fit it yet.

Does anyone know the benifit of a DBW on a manual shift car. I been thinking of buying one but not sure if its worth it on a manual car
