Good luck, Frank. It looks stunning, so hopefully it will soon look stunning with you and Mrs Dr Houx in it.
Well the Mrs is a fair looker IMO, but 2 weeks into enforced light duties and no driving after an op to fix a broken elbow and I can’t shave, so I’m looking more like Worzel Gummage as each day passes. I’m no Beau Brummell in normal circumstances and quite enjoy the Scarecrow look, but the Mrs has told me I’ve plumbed new depths.

Due to be signed off at a foiiow up with the Surgeon on the 20th, after which I’ve hopefully got a GC to go look at!

Ooh that sounds painful. Speedy recovery.
Can I point out that most of us were born with 2 elbows….shaving with the remaining functioning limb. (whilst at first awkward) may restore those rugged, irresistible, good looks.;)

Yes, did you buy the car? It looks stunning for sure!

I am 5 minutes from Giallo but amazingly see so few Maserati in the area, I've never seen this one.

Turkish barbers have gone all h and s! It was cotton wool dipped in meths and set alight on the end of a screw driver for my ears when I was last in Turkey admitedly several decades ago now!

Thanks to Bladerunner, I’ve established contact with the owner, and he is indeed Stuart whom he bumped into at the Nurburgring.

It is also exactly the same car I looked at in 2021 at Giallo, but he’s put over 10k miles on it since. However, he seems to have done a lot to it also to fix some stone chips and rusty bolts, and it’s currently looked after by SportsItalia so he says, so should be a good Un!

@conaero / Matt. Be good to have you confirm this a a well looked after car before I send him the deposit. View attachment 106946View attachment 106947

Fantastic, glad you made contact Frank!
Hope it checks out for you as it’s a cracking looking car...

Short answer is no. I got in contact with Stuart and we had several chats. It was an outstanding car and I felt it had to be garaged, so needed to sell one of my other toys to make room.

Stuart needed to sell and couldn’t wait so he sold to a dealer I think. In the meantime I purchased a BMW 630i Cab that does much the same minus the engine and noise and is not such a looker, but at about 1/7th the cost of the GC. As such it can live on the drive.IMG_1827.jpegIMG_1829.jpegIMG_1828.jpeg
