Gear shift knob removal - 6mt

Chaps, I've just acquired a replacement gear knob for my 4200 6mt (possibly from one of you blokes, I bought it on eBay out of the U.K.!) and I can't for the life of me see how to get the old one off?

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

I think if you move the gaitor down you can then see a colar with 3 grub screws to undo. Never done a 4200 but thats how that style are usually attached.
