Gearbox Filter Stuck

You need either a right angled drill like this:



Or an adapter like this:



Then either use a big drill bit or a burr I guess.

Hi, I have the exactly same problem and the stuck filter is exactly in same condition as yours. How did you drill the old filter out? it's very tight there.. I used a lever to push from inside of the gearbox from the drain hole and the filter cracked in pieces inside the gearbox. I am very depressed

Sorry to hear your in the same position as I was.

I took it very steady using a Dremel/drill bit and the solo attachment to get a better angle.
