I've wanted one of these since I first saw one over 20 years ago. So when I saw one was coming up at H&H, I knew I would bid on it. Yesterday was the day, and after a tussle with several other bidders, I got to drive it home. It's in fantastic condition, and drives beautifully, just needs a really good detailing and a fresh service. It's an auto, but that suits me as I can't manage a clutch pedal anymore.

Well done - it's a lovely example, in a great colour combination and with excellent provenance. I bid on it when it was for auction last summer, but dropped out a grand or so before the final whistle. It should make a good long term keeper as well, being arguably the last registered UK mk2 Ghibli.

Don't forget to add it to your signature car list!
