Hi Guys how the ***k do you get to the electrics behind the dash and glove box front passenger side, i.e remove them, I think I just need to remove the back of the glove box any ideas ?

Reason

My brake lights are on permanently (even with the ignition off) and a technician at maranello assures me it is the control box which is situated just to the left of the back of the glovebox under the dash.. having now got a replacement (£200 ouch) thought would be a ten min job to replace got that wrong (should have known better... I thought I would just be able to reach up underneath and replace it is only one screw that locates it,, but I cannot even see it and it not small it is about 6"x 4" with six connectors

Any help as always appreciated Cheers BUdgie

Think the top cover comes off first.

There is a post on here with photos on how to take the dash out on a 3200, it may give you some pointers.

Check out the heater matrix replacementl thread. You can use it to get as far as the airbag removal.
I've done it myself - takes a wee while and the screws you need to remove are a real pain - be prepared to dremel some of them off.
Basically - start by removing room trim above doors, then window pillar trim, that will allow access to start getting the top of the dash off, take off middle vent to get to remaining screws... easier if ye find the very useful thread that superkart did for heater matrix replacement.

Just read again what yer trying to do... on the 4200GT at least, the air bag sits in within a metal kind of box - so not sure you'll be able to get access from the top down either.
Just found foto of when I removed airbag on 4200GT.
I think it's more likely you just want to remove glove box - not airbag.

Mind if you do go the full hog like in the 2nd pic there's no doubt you'll get to it :)
