Good value GS

That does look very good value, however if it has full service history this should be in the £25K + price bracket (unless it needs a clutch), even then still cheap.

As I posted a few hours ago the car has been sold and as stated it was at a very competitive price.

Let's say that car would be priced at £30k by a dealer. What would they typically pay for a car with that retail value?

For a small independent trader, I would say they would be buying in at around £25k if it didn't need much doing to it

I am sure it will appear in one of the usual retail outlets shortly plus £10k.

There was me thinking my 68k GS was worth a few more ££££ than that!

I'd want it under £20k that's to allow for any work which as we know on these cars can massively eat into the budget.

£1200 for a warranty minimum
£2.5k for a clutch (most dealers worth their salt will put a new clutch in regardless of wear factor which is unreliable)
£1.5k for a service (see above applies)
£800 for paintwork, most cars needs at least some paint and or a decent detail.

That's best part of £6k already and these cars aren't an easy sell unless priced right.

I hope a private buyer managed to buy this one, extremely rare to see a non cat lower mileage car at this price no matter what work it requires.

Somehow though I expect to see it back up at a dealer for around 30k in the near future.
